FELDKIRCHEN-WESTERHAM – Technical fabric brand W L Gore is to invest more than US$15 million over the next five years to explore alternative durable water repellent (DWR) treatments in response to ongoing concerns about PFCs and their presence in DWRs. The business told Ecotextile News it will take a broad, "out of box" approach as it seeks to find alternative DRW approaches which still "deliver the functionality customers are seeking."
