BONN – Fairtrade International says there has been a 28 per cent increase in consumer sales of Fairtrade cotton in 2014. The organisation's annual sales and figures report, titled 'Global Change, Local Leadership', says the increase is benefiting 1.5 million farmers and workers, labelling it as a "global success story."
