WASHINGTON - The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety says the development of a transition plan to hand over its work to local stakeholders will be a key goal next year. The US-based organisation, which this week released its second annual report, also noted the challenges involved in ensuring factories meet corrective action plans (CAPs) within agreed timelines due - among other things, it says - to the lack engineers in Bangladesh with the expertise required to support remediation.
