NORTH CAROLINA – US yarn producer Unifi, through its subsidiary Unifi Textiles (Suzhou) Co, is to expand the global availability of its Repreve recycled polyester fibre through its new Turkish subsidiary, Korteks, and Sun Chemical, which has become a licensed distributor of Repreve in Taiwan. Turkish business Korteks, which is now a licensed manufacturer of Repreve, is the largest European fully-integrated polyester continuous filament yarn manufacturer.
