LONDON - A survey of 21 UK businesses – more than half from the clothing sector - found more than two thirds (71 per cent) feel there is is a likelihood of modern slavery occurring in their supply chains. The businesses felt the risk was particularly acute in high-risk countries and at lower stages of the supply chain, while reputational risk was identified as the biggest driver for change.
