Degradation: the next target for chemicals manufacturers?

MUMBAI – A leading provider of environmental services to the textile industry globally has questioned whether current industry initiatives such as the Higg Index and MRSLs, adequately address the sustainability and environmental issues around chemical management when it comes to residual chemicals found in treated effluent, sludge and even clothing items sold in the high street, many of which will eventually end up in a landfill.
