Environmental metrics tool targets fashion

ZURICH – A new environmental metrics database for the apparel industry has this week been launched, with support from Hugo Boss and Oeko-Tex. The World Apparel & Footwear Life Cycle Assessment Database (WALDB) claims it will provide "credible environmental impact data for the fashion industry" to help brands measure, report and communicate environmental impacts in their textile supply chains.
