LENZING - Austrian fibre manufacturer Lenzing has announced a new business strategy which will see it looking to boost growth in its sustainable fibres such as Tencel and Modal. The company says it aims to generate half of all revenues from these and its speciality viscose fibres by the year 2020. Lenzing says it will also increase its pulp production volumes and expand strategic co-operations as part of a strategy which is aimed at delivering a positive EBITDA of EUR 50 million by 2017. Lenzing's 'sCore TEN' strategy has been developed to reflect mega trends such as population growth and rising prosperity levels in emerging markets.
