US-business certified to new Cradle to Cradle standard

VIRGINIA – Sustainable apparel manufacturer, MetaWear, has become the first US company to be certified to Cradle to Cradle's new 'Fashion Positive' Silver certification. The standard supports the Cradle to Cradle vision of safe materials, perpetually cycled, and produced with clean water, renewable energy, and social fairness. MetaWear became the first US screen printing facility certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard last year and is known for its screen printed organic cotton men's and women's T-shirts.
