Bestseller report puts focus supplier audits

COPENHAGEN – Danish apparel retailer Bestseller has launched its Sustainability Report for 2014/15. The report places heavy emphasis on responsible supply chain management, highlighting how in the past year 669 supplier audits have been carried out by external and own auditors. As of 31 July 2015, 95 per cent of supplier factories were found to be in compliance with Bestseller's Code of Conduct, with the rest under remediation. Every year Bestseller brands have approximately 220 million products manufactured at more than 700 factories in Europe and Asia.
