COPENHAGEN – Danish apparel retailer Bestseller has announced what, to our knowledge, is the first ever recall of a product because it was found to contain fluorinated compounds. The company has recalled a pair of girls' mittens and ear-warmers retailed by Besteller brand, Name IT, following tests which revealed that the mittens contained fluorinated compounds. The company decided to withdraw both items as they are made from the same material.
