LONDON – One in three workers across 22 garment factories in Myanmar told interviewers they had been injured at work while many feared factory fires as building exits were often blocked or locked. These are some of the findings of new research which claims garment factory workers in the rapidly growing garment production hub of Yangon experienced "overwhelmingly poor working conditions" with many "not earning enough to adequately support themselves and their families."
