SUNDERLAND – UK outdoor brand, Berghaus, has announced it will use Nikwax Hydrophobic Down in its winter 2016 range. Nikwax claims it has developed a process which can make down exceptionally water-resistant, without using persistent organic pollutants. The UK business has always rejected the use of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) due to concerns about their environmental impact.
