MUNICH – Greenpeace is launching a new report on the existence of perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) in sports and outdoor wear at the upcoming ISPO trade show in Munich. Exhibiting at ISPO for the first time, this will be the NGO’s third report on outdoor apparel – with the new report detailing the environmental fate of PFCs used in high performance clothing as well as outdoor equipment such as tents, sleeping bags and backpacks.
