SAN FRANCISCO – US apparel giant Gap has committed to slashing absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all its global owned and operated facilities by 50 per cent from 2015 levels by the end of 2020. The company makes the pledge in its latest sustainability report, in which CEO Art Peck suggests that moves by the apparel industry to address social and environmental issues are "frustratingly slow."
