US business produces ‘plant-based polyester’ shirts

MADISON - A US tech business which has patented a technology that uses catalytic chemistry to convert plant-based materials into products identical to those made from petroleum has announced the production of what are claimed to be the world's first 100 per cent plant-based polyester shirts.
