WASHINGTON - A major new report from the World Bank has suggested South Asian apparel exporters Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka need to improve social and environmental compliance, increase supply chain efficiency, and remove trade restrictions to allow easy access to manmade fibres in order to capture market share which will likely become available as China reduces its reliance on apparel manufacture.
