AMSTERDAM – DuPont has produced new highly concentrated enzyme desizing technology that can effectively lower the total phosphate, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and subsequently reduce the effluent treatment load for textile manufacturers.
The company says its ‘PrimaGreen ALL’ is also a step-change process in enzymatic desizing since it can operate effectively under a wide range of temperature and pH conditions and can be applied to fabrics via exhaust, pad-batch and even higher temperature pad-steam to offer multi-purpose desizing flexibility during textile production.
