Polygiene stresses sustainability in antimicrobial technology

LONDON – A leading antimicrobial technology specialist has said that the outdoor and sports apparel industries need to make consumers more aware of the positive environmental impact such performance technologies can provide. Polygiene, which provides silver-based antimictobial treatments for the likes of Patagonia, Adidas, New Balance and Berghaus, claims to significantly improve the environmental impact of clothing by reducing the amount of times they need to be washed.
