TE announces German sustainability conference

TEXAS - Textile Exchange has announced details of its annual Textile Sustainability Conference which this year takes place in Hamburg, Germany from October 4-7, 2016. Speakers confirmed so far include Nicholas Mallos, director at the Trash Free Seas Program which is concerned with ocean conservancy, Rahul Bhajekar, director standards development and quality assurance from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Stefan Dierks, head of CR product & strategy with German retailer Tchibo, and Tamar Hoek, senior programme manager textiles with Solidaridad. The annual event brings together textile professionals from around the globe to share progress, knowledge, and best practices.
