Unifi opens US$28m bottle processing facility

NORTH CAROLINA - US yarn manufacturer Unifi has opened a new bottle processing centre as part of a US$28m investment to help it vertically integrate its Repreve recycled product line. Repreve is Unifi's flagship brand of recycled fibres made from recycled materials, including plastic bottles. It is used by some of the world's leading apparel brands, including Patagonia, Haggar, and Quiksilver.
