Chinese luxury brand launches upcycled textile collection

HONG KONG – Leading Chinese luxury brand Shanghai Tang has launched a major new seven-piece upcycled collection which will be created using its surplus textile stock. The collection will hit stores this autumn and is the first foray into the sustainable apparel sphere for Shanghai Tang as the company seeks to tap into growing awareness around environmental issues among the younger generation of Chinese consumers.
