SAN FRANCISCO – US denim brand Levi Strauss has announced an expansion of its Worker Well-being initiative which will mean the programme will soon reach more than 300,000 workers. The company is also introducing the programme to strategic vendors, with the aim being that more than 80 per cent of its products will be made in Worker Well-being factories. The initiative sees Levi Strauss partnering with local and national non-profits and NGOs to provide health, educational and other types of support to workers.
