NEW YORK - Clothing prices dropped by more than 50 per cent in the UK between 1995 and 2014, encouraging shoppers to buy more items. "The number of garments produced annually has doubled since 2000 and exceeded 100 billion for the first time in 2014 - nearly 14 items of clothing for every person on earth," claims the report.
