BEIJING – Gap, Marks & Spencer, Target Inc and adidas have all scored highly in the third installation of an evaluation report which measure apparel brands' performance in managing the environmental impacts of factories in their supply chains in China. Published by Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs (IPE) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) the Corporate Information Transparency Index (CITI) report saw the IPE devise score lists and rankings based on collected pollution data, interaction with enterprises and field research. A high score is indicative of satisfactory environmental progress.
