TETTNANG - German outdoor brand Vaude has launched a pilot project to ensure environmentally-friendly production processes and safe working conditions among suppliers. The project is targeting tier 2 material suppliers which provide components for its core outdoor products and is intended as an example of 'best practice' which will be presented to the German Alliance for Sustainable Textiles. Vaude is a founding member of this alliance, which brings together industry associations, civil society, government and manufacturers in the textile industry.
