Trump election threatens progress on environment

WASHINGTON – The major strides made by the Obama administration on environmental protection are under serious threat following the election of climate change sceptic Donald Trump as US president – with clear ramifications for the regulation of textile products in the US. News sources in the US indicate that Trump will opt for high profile climate sceptic Myron Ebell, director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the conservative Competitive Enterprise Institute, to lead his US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) "transition team."
