LENZING – Speciality fibres business Lenzing has announced another set of positive financial results, with revenues rising by 8.2 per cent in the first nine months of 2016. The rise was applicable partly to higher sales volumes but the main driver was higher selling prices of its three speciality fibres, namely Viscose, Modal and Tencel, with the third quarter seeing a particularly sharp increase in viscose prices. "Significant improvements of cash flow and thus reduction of net debt provide the basis for further investments and the implementation of the sCore TEN strategy," said a statement from the Austrian business.
