LOS ANGELES – Nate Sponsler, formerly of Gap Inc., has been appointed as the new director of the Apparel & Footwear International RSL Management Group (AFIRM), which aims to reduce the use and impact of harmful substances in the apparel and footwear supply chain through harmonisation of brand RSL’s. Sponsler takes over from Elizabeth Treanor at the Phylmar Group – a consultancy which facilitates the AFIRM Group and which specialises in Environmental Health & Safety across a range of industry sectors.
Sponslor has also served as the Gap technical representative for chemical management on the ZDHC Group.
