Greenpeace Detox senior campaigner Kirsten Brodde reflects on how the global environmental NGO first took on apparel retailers and brands with its landmark Detox campaign and admits Greenpeace has seen more recent success by taking a more collaborative approach with the industry. Perhaps surprisingly, Brodde notes the meaning of 'zero' discharge of hazardous chemicals is "still subject to a lively debate."
