DHAKA - Workplace safety in the Bangladesh garment industry has "significantly improved" over the past four years – that is the claim of the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh agreement, which this week released new figures showing that remediation work is now 90 per cent complete at more than 400 Accord affiliated factories.
