LONDON – Burberry and the Royal College of Art have announced the establishment of the Burberry Material Futures Research Group. The Group will become the first 'STEAM' (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) research centre to be based at a traditional art and design university, and will apply "radical thinking to invent more sustainable materials, transform consumer experience." The centre is supported by a £3 million grant from the Burberry Foundation.
