NETHERLANDS – Companies in the Dutch apparel industry will be asked to list which suppliers produce their clothing as part of a government-backed project which was launched last year. In 2016, the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands (SER) launched the ‘Agreement on a Sustainable Garment and Textile Sector’ initiative which aims to address poor working conditions and human rights alongside environmental issues.
