DHAKA – A new initiative which aims to digitally map all apparel factories in Bangladesh has launched, signally a shift towards greater transparency in the Bangladesh RMG sector. The Digital RMG Factory Mapping in Bangladesh (DRFM-B) initiative, implemented by BRAC University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, will collect factory data and disclose it on a publicly available online map.
