HAMBURG – Cotton sustainability initiative Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) has announced record revenue figures for its production of cotton in 2016. In 2016, Cotton made in Africa increased its license revenues by 47 percent in comparison to 2015, reaching 1,484,546 Euros. Through the granting of marketing rights for the CmiA license, the Aid by Trade Foundation generated increased revenues of 70 per cent compared to the previous year.
