DELAWARE – A new initiative underway which plans to give textile and apparel suppliers the ability to anonymously rate their customers – including the big brand retailers – is set to gain new momentum as it gears up to share some of the results of its pilot testing. Ratings for the system cover seven aspects – planning and forecasting, design and development, cost and cost negotiations, sourcing and order placement, management of the purchasing process, payment and terms, and CSR harmonisation.
