Textile waste challenging planetary boundaries

WASHINGTON D.C. – The World Resources Institute, says that increasing number of people worldwide in the middle classes will spark a rise in the amount of clothing purchased by consumers, and that ‘unprecedented innovation’ in the textile sector is now urgently required to stay within sustainable planetary boundaries.
