WESTERN AUSTRALIA – A wool grower in Western Australia has called for the practise of mulesing to be stopped after it has been suggested to be cruel and painful by animal rights activists and organisations. Mulesing involves farmers cutting away skin from the breech of a sheep to prevent fly strike or myiasis.
