MUNICH – In collaboration with the German outdoor brand Vaude, the Italian textile supplier Pontetorto has revealed what it says is the ‘world’s first’ fleece fabric made with fibres that are said to be ‘biodegradable’ – even in marine water. The fabric, which uses Tencel on the brushed inner fabric surface – instead of polyester – was revealed at the on-going Performance Days event in Munich where it bagged a Performance Award for innovation.
