OXFORDSHIRE – Non-profit WRAP has carried out a consumer survey asking people in the UK about their attitudes towards buying, using and disposing of clothing. WRAP says the purpose of the survey is to help WRAP to complete its ‘sustainable action plan’.
The survey found that there was a considerable intention-action gap between people who viewed it important that clothing is made to last (74 per cent) and people who actively purchased it with this in mind (63 per cent).
