VANCOUVER – Canadian fashion designer Kaya Dorey has been awarded the Young Champion of the Earth award as part of the United Nations Environment Programme.
Dorey won the prize for her apparel business that prioritises both sustainability, and for the designer’s role in encouraging the reworking of post-consumer textiles (PCT) with an innovative ‘take-back’ programme.
