BRUSSELS – The Foreign Trade Association (FTA) has set out its plans for progression until 2030, including how it can help the textiles and clothing sector to work more sustainably as it gears up to be re-branded as ‘Amfori’ in January 2018. 

“Change is happening. For us this means new challenges along with new opportunities,” according to FTA director general, Christian Ewert. He spoke exclusively to Ecotextile News to discuss the organisation’s 40 years to date, and what the future holds for the Amfori brand as well as trade across the fashion industry.
