AMSTERDAM – The ZDHC Foundation (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) today held its inaugural, invitation-only ‘Implementation Experience’ day across two venues in Amsterdam. The event, which culminated in the launch of the new ZDHC Implementation Hub, featured a wide variety of talks and forums involving a broad spectrum of textile and textile chemical industry leaders.

As well as launching the Implementation Hub, ZDHC used the conference to set out its vision for the coming years. New collaborations – perhaps most significantly, a new partnership with bluesign – were announced, along with a commitment to continue the organisation’s work beyond the date mentioned in the ‘Roadmap to 2020’ initiative (now named the ‘Roadmap to Zero’). David Styles reports from Amsterdam.
