Fashion brands refuse to pay workers after factory closures

Written by Tom Hinchcliffe

BRISTOL – Labour Behind the Label (LBL) has claimed that fashion brands Marks and Spencer, Next and Zara are refusing to pay their workers after factory closures. LBL has reported consumers finding messages in garments in the stores across the UK and other countries.

The messages reportedly read “I made the item you are about to buy, but I didn’t get paid for it”. Similar notes have been found in Mango, Uniqlo, Adidas, Mizuno, and Nygard.
