LONDON - In a bold move to find out whether consumers really do care about what they are buying and its impact on people and the planet, Lucy Drage, the former head of ethics and sustainability for clothing at Sainsbury’s, will launch her own range of children’s cover up swimwear, which is fully traceable, digitally printed and uses 100 per cent recycled polyester.
“It could be an expensive experiment,” she told Ecotextile News, “but I have faith there are parents out there who do care – so let’s see if it’s true.”
