AMSTERDAM – The Otto Group has signed up to the Fashion for Good Innovation Platform, and with others, will now become part of the Dutch-based NGO’s selection process for new innovators and start-ups that focus on sustainability in the textile and clothing sectors.

“In the age of digitisation, we are convinced that an innovation-driven sustainability approach in particular will help us to solve the major environmental and social problems of our time,” said Alexander Birken, Chairman of the Otto Group Executive Board.

Along with other Fashion for Good partners, the Otto Group, which includes the Otto and Bonprix retail brands will define focus areas and provide expertise and mentorship to start-ups involved in sustainability. “They will gain specialised scouting and screening support, as well as preferential access to market-ready innovations through Fashion for Good’s extensive network,” read a press statement.
