LONDON – Global finance institution HSBC has claimed that business around the world are reappraising supply chains in order to integrate sustainability; decisions which are primarily driven by expectations of subsequent financial reward.

A new study conducted by the organisation has found that, in stark contrast to the belief that sustainability and profit-seeking could never be intertwined in a business model, many firms have now chosen to pursue more sustainable practices as a way to bring about growth.
