PORTLAND/NEW YORK – Sportswear giant Adidas has teamed up with the NHL (National Hockey League) to develop the league’s first-ever hockey jerseys to contain recycled materials.

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the German sportswear brand and Parley for the Oceans, the duo have incorporated fibres derived from marine plastic debris – such as bottles – into the designs.
