PARIS – The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) has published a report assessing the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) and its flagship Higg Index suite of textile industry tools in relation to the former’s Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains in the Garment and Footwear Sector.
The report follows a year of co-operation between the two organisations, with the OECD Alignment Assessment process a voluntary one piloted with the SAC throughout 2018.
