AMSTERDAM – Indian textile supplier Arvind Limited has become the latest organisation to join Fashion for Good, as it further commits to test and implement new innovations that claim to improve the environmental footprint of textiles production.
Noted as a major denim supplier, Arvind supplies works with a number of global fashion brands to supply fabrics, yarns, fibres and in more recent times has entered the technical fabrics market through its Advanced Materials Division.
In addition, the company’s head of sustainability, Abhishek Bansal, will next month take part in a discussion with Tanvi Karambelkar, Investment Manager, Good Fashion Fund at Planet Textiles 2019 in Barcelona on the real-world challenges of implementing new, cutting edge technology in textile supply chains.
